Paul Barringer, Christer Idhammar and Paul Lanthier, three Reliability & Manufacturing gurus enter in a debate with Mr. Renaud Mazy on manufacturing in a global context. They’ll discuss the current challenges for manufacturing facilities in the West.
About the participants at the debate (*)
Paul Barringer has more than 45 years of engineering and manufacturing experience in design, production, quality, maintenance, and reliability of technical products. The breadth of his experiences avoids the usual narrowness of expertise in only a single area of reliability. Barringer is named as inventor in six USA Patents.
Christer Idhammar is founder and Executive Vice President IDCON, INC. He is a high profiled and world renowned guru and expert within Reliability and Maintenance. He started his career in the Swedish merchant marine where he started developing fundamentals of his Results Oriented Reliability and Maintenance Management concept. During the last 40 years this concept has evolved during his time as mechanic crafts person, engineer, manager, consultant, educator and philosopher, reliability guru and company leader.
Paul Lanthier has overall responsibility for the management of The Aladon Network. The Aladon Network was founded by John Moubray author of the ground breaking book "Reliability-Centred Maintenance". An experienced RCM2 Practitioner, Paul draws upon his extensive expertise in industrial process and maintenance optimization. This includes the successful delivery of strategic reliability solutions to companies around the world and the evolution of the practices to meet the changing world of reliability.

About Maintenance in the BoardroomDuring ‘Maintenance in the Boardroom’ (Frequently English spoken), the central guest speaker, a CEO of a Belgian based company, shares his vision on the impact of maintenance in their company and explain the strategic considerations and choices made. This is a well attended event for CEOs, Plant Managers and Maintenance Managers at a management level. CEOs get acquainted with the vision of a successful fellow CEO and learn how to keep their Belgian production sites competitive. Maintenance Managers learn how to better understand the CEO’s way of thinking, and discover the long-term visions of the CEO and their implications on maintenance. This event truly joins the two worlds.
